St. Petersburg Open is one of the major ATP International Series tournaments and one of the favorite for most of the sportsmen. It has become a tradition to hold the Tournament annually every Autumn in the city of Saint-Petersburg. Not every Tournament can boast the variety of players.
Around 52,000 spectators visit the Tournament every year. And millions of tennis fans follow the Tournament on TV in more than 200 countries.
St. Petersburg Open is a popular and world-known sports event. It has received three ATP awards: "Record Attendance" in 1999, "Promotion and Marketing" in 2001 and "Best Operation" in 2002.
